Game description
"Durak (Fool)" is the most popular Russian card game, with simple rules and the ability to play both in two or in a large company. Usually a card deck of 36 cards is used, but if there are many players, a solitaire deck of 52 cards can be used. The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards and leave your opponents with more cards in their hands. The last Player left in the hand with unplayed cards loses, or as they say in Russia: Remains a fool. Players deal 6 cards from the deck into their hands. The suit of the next remaining card becomes a trump (a card capable of beating any suit) and the remaining cards go into the stock and are taken by players as they play the cards in their hands. At the beginning of the first game, the first move goes to the player who has the lowest trump suit card. In the next game, the loser shuffles and spreads the deck, and the right of the first move goes to the winning player. If more than two players play cards, then the first move is made under the loser. It is made by the player sitting to the right of the loser. The value of cards in the game is determined by their value. Trumps are considered the strongest cards, and the other cards go in descending order. The oldest card is the Ace, followed by the King, the Queen, and so on up to the 6-of-a-kind or 2-of-a-kind (if a 52-card deck is used). The highest card always beats the lowest, and the trump card always beats any card except trumps with a higher value. If a player has nothing to beat his opponent's cards with, he takes all played cards from the middle of the card table. The opponent takes the missing cards from the stock to make their number 6 and makes a move again. If the player was able to repel all the cards, then the right to move passes to him. "Durak" is not only a game of luck and lucky cards. In many ways, victory depends on the ability to analyze the discarded and remaining cards, to make moves using strategy and planning.
