How to resize multiple images at once in Windows 10 (without extra software)
This tutorial video will show you step by step how to resize multiple images at once in Windows 10 without using any extra software.
This will change the size (dimensions) and reduce the file size of your images (pictures / photos).
The aspect ratio of your images will be correct. For example, if you choose 800 x 600 and your image has a size of 1280 x 720, then it will still get the correct aspect ratio of 800 x 450.Дата: 2019-03-18 EasyTechGuides

This had been a great solution that has worked on multiple machines running Win10 until now. I just bought a new Dell computer and after the step of Sending files to Mail Recipient, the resize box comes up I select a size, click on Attach but although I do not have any mail programs setup I do not get the error msg - "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action". The files are not in the temp folder and do not appear to be anywhere. Any suggestions? Note it still works on my old computer running Win10

Hi thank you very much. I am however having a problem as the photos all go to a Thunderbird message as attachments default to that for some reason, even though I'm not using it now. I've tried changing the win.ini file in notepad as instructed in support but it won't let me. And I can't seem to copy all the file attachments in the Thunderbird message and paste into explorer. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

Thank you dude. Worked like a charm. My email pop-up message was a bit different though - it said that I should "create a profile to continue". But the whole process was exactly the same (I did what you did). Thanks again. I went from like 980MB to 13MB (took photos with my DSLR and then shrunk them to "Medium" option I think).

Thanks for a good tip. But why the hell can't Microsoft give us a freakin' simple rightclick option to resize photos? You'd think its not rocket science. Then we wouldn't have to use convoluted methods (when you don't have the right software) trying to achieve this.

it is funny how it is something that is required quite a lot and yet pixels and sizes are mentioned yet there is no standard for reliable resizing for printing or for uploading to a website or whatever. THANK YOU so much for this simplified and utterly useful instructions

Hell yea, big thumbs up on this one Thank you Great for those of us who don't have Outlook on our home systems. I've never understood why phone cameras take HUGE sized pics when my screen only shows it 1/4 of the size.

I have Outlook but this does not work for me. I get as far as attaching the images, having resized them, but no email appears. Nor are they in my temp folder. :(
